Went to yoga this morning and quickly realized it was just what my body needed. Not just for the stretching (my muscles were tiiiight from all the strength training I’ve been doing), but for the mental benefits as well. 🙏🏼

So this is just a little reminder to get your stretch on this weekend! Do some yoga, break out your foam roller/lacrosse ball for some myofascial release or do an easy stretching routine at home. (Check the link in my profile for some of my favorite stretches to do!)

Why? Stretching reduces muscle tension, improves range of movement within the joints and increases circulation of blood. Stretching not only helps your muscles recover faster (so you’ll feel less sore), but it helps to keep you injury-free. 📸: @kayteelauren .
