PROTEIN OATS! 💪 I’m sharing 5 easy ways to add protein to your oats to create a balanced bowl that will keep you energized all morning! Swipe right to see them all. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1️⃣ Egg whites – stir the egg whites into your oats while they cook. It makes oatmeal thick and voluminous, plus the flavor isn’t overpowering at all. This is my fave way to add protein to cooked oats.
2️⃣ Cottage cheese – stir cottage cheese into your oats after they’ve cooked for a extra creamy, protein-packed bowl of oats.
3️⃣ Greek yogurt – stir yogurt your oats after they’ve cooked or add to overnight oats. Again, you’ll get an extra creamy bowl of oats and a ração of probiotic goodness. (You can also use regular milk to cook your oats!)
4️⃣ Protein powder – stir into oats after they’ve cooked. this a great option if you don’t eat eggs or dairy because you can use a #plantbased protein powder and still get a good amount of protein. I really like @idealraw.
5️⃣ Nut butter, nuts or seeds – these options might not add as much protein as the others but they’re still a great option and also add a ração of healthy fats that will help keep you full and satisfied. .
