Let the countdown begin… we’re only 6 days away from my due date! 👶🏻💃🏻 Many of you have been asking me to share my pre-baby meal prep, so I decided to put everything together in a blog post for you that’s now live! 🥘🙌
Over the last few weeks I’ve basically been living in the kitchen. I’m not only trying to get ahead on content so you all won’t miss me while I’m on maternity leave, but also prepping my freezer so Isaac and I have plenty of meals and snacks ready to go during the first few weeks home from the hospital with a new babe. I imagine I won’t have much extra time on my hands. 😂
This is similar to my meal prep philosophy, but for baby prep I have been focusing mainly on breakfast, dinner and snacks (if I don’t have these things ready to go I tend to reach for less healthy choices 🙈) and making things that I can prep in advance and freeze. I’m also planning out ideas of items that I want to keep on hand for easy meals and snacks like smoothies, protein balls, trail mix, pasta/pasta sauce, apples, nut butter, hummus, veggies, crackers and hard-boiled eggs.
