Kicking off Monday with a malted chocolate superfood smoothie made with frozen cauliflower. ππ»Yup! This baby has no fruit so it’s low in sugar and packed with superfoods like maca powder and cacao nibs. PS – It you haven’t tried frozen cauliflower in your smoothies yet, you gotta get on it. It gives smoothies a thick, almost velvety texture that’s pretty awesome. I’m a big fan! π―
For this smoothie add 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I like @sunwarriortribe), 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1/4 cup frozen riced cauliflower, 1/3 cup ice, 1 Tablespoon maca powder and 1 Tablespoon cacao nibs into your blender. Blend until smooth, pour and drink up!

Loving the addition of frozen veggies in smoothies! This morning I had a fruit free green smoothie packed with pre-steamed and then frozen zucchini, cauliflower, Β½ an avocado, fresh spinach, unsweetened almond milk and plant based protein powder!!
Nice one!π
Looks heavenly
This looks amazing!! π
Looking super chic babe!
@sammy_tiu320 That sounds delish! Do you think steaming helps with the texture?
@alyssabrieloff @navitasorganics @atasteoftherapy @kalanimcclain Thank you!! π
@eatingbirdfood I think steaming helps ease digestion vs. leaving the veggies raw before freezing. The frozen veg definitely add a thick and creamy consistency to the smoothie which I love!
@sammy_tiu320 Thanks lady. And great point about aiding in digestion too!
@fitfansar78 Thank you!!
