Healthy eating when traveling can be a challenge, but I’ve found it SO much easier now that I’ve adapted a habits-based approach to healthy living over a dieting approach.

On vacation I still aim to stick with the daily habits that I know make me feel my best. Without being obsessive about it I focus on the areas I can control like:
🍽 Building my meals around a good source of protein.
🥗 Eating at least one salad a day.
💦 Drinking plenty of water.
🛏 Getting adequate sleep.
🚶🏻‍♀️ Getting in some sort of movement each day.

For this trip my meals have definitely been larger and more indulgent than the meals I eat at home (i.e this Israeli falafel salad 😋) and my only form of exercise has been walking BUT I don’t feel guilty at all because I’m enjoying myself, while still being mindful and I think that’s what vacation should be about! 🙌🏼

Luckily living the #saladeveryday lifestyle has been a breeze in Israel and it’s also given me a ton of fun ideas for new EBF recipes when I get home. Get excited!! 🥗👩🏻‍🍳💯
