Confession time. I totally swore off steel cut oats when I first found out about them because I thought they took too long to cook and ain’t nobody got time for oats that take up to 20 mins. 🙅🏻‍♀️ But then I found an easy method that makes the most perfect bowl of steel cut oats. They turn out super creamy, but still have a bit of that chewy texture and they’re a breeze to whip up.

All you have to do is bring the oats to a boil the night before, cover and let them soak overnight. You’ll wake up to perfect oats without any of the work… and no water boiling over and burning your stovetop, which used to happen to me every single time I tried to cook steel cut oats. 🙈
