Besides the decorating and spending time with loved ones, one of my favorite things about the holiday season is all the holiday baking. And this year I’m so excited to share my SNICKERDOODLE COOKIE recipe with you! 🍪🎅🏼💃🏻 Snickerdoodles are one of Isaac’s favorites so it was about time I created an EBF version that was a bit healthier, #vegan and #glutenfree! 🙌
These babies are chewy, but fluffy, made with a combo of almond and oat flour and are jam-packed with so much cinnamony goodness. 💯
One ingredient that almost all snickerdoodle cookies call for is cream of tartar. Fun fact: cream of tartar is not a tartar sauce, it’s a dry powder that comes from fermenting grapes into wine (who knew?! 🤷🏻♀️). The acid from the cream of tartar gives snickerdoodles their distinct flavor and texture, so whatever you do, don’t swap out or skip that for anything!
