A few weeks ago, I shared a @chickfila inspired dinner on my IG story. I honesty wasn’t going to share this recipe until later this winter, but so many of you were asking about the sauce that I figured I couldn’t keep it all to myself any longer. 💃🏻🙌 ⁣

If you didn’t already know, Chick-Fil-A and I go waaay back… it was my FAVE fast food restaurant growing up. #wafflefries Before becoming pregnant this year, I hadn’t been to a Chick-Fil-A since college, but recently I had a craving for Chick-Fil-A nuggets and waffle fries and this quickly reminded me how much I used to love their sauce. 💯⁣

So, I decided it was time to make a homemade, healthy version of the Chick-Fil-A sauce using cashews instead of mayo and no weird preservatives. If I do say so myself, this sauce tastes pretty darn similar to the real deal! I even had some friends and family do a side-by-side blind taste-test, and several people said they liked my version better – mainly because it doesn’t have the “sintético taste” you get from the packaged sauce. Plus, it’s #glutenfree, #dairyfree and can easily be made #vegan. Woot woot! 💁🏻‍♀️ ⁣
